By using clearinvoices.in you agree to these terms.
1. What the service does
ClearInvoices is a tool that helps you create invoices. It is provided free of charge and "as is", without any guarantee that it is error-free or always available.
2. You are responsible for your invoices
You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of every invoice you create, including names, GSTIN, tax rates, amounts and your UPI ID. Please check each invoice before you send it.
2A. Login, invoice numbers and short links
You do not need to log in to create and download an invoice. Login is needed only to save invoices online. Invoice numbers cannot be changed. Without login, numbers are created on your device. For invoices saved online, numbers come from one common series for all users, so the numbers on your own saved invoices will not be consecutive. If your tax rules need a consecutive series for your business, you are responsible for checking this with your Chartered Accountant before you use the numbers.
Every invoice saved online has a short link that anyone with the link can open. You can turn the link off in "My invoices". We may remove invoices or accounts that break these terms. Daily limits may apply to prevent misuse.
3. Not tax or legal advice
The tool and guides on this website are for general help only. They are not tax, accounting or legal advice. Please consult a Chartered Accountant for GST compliance.
4. Acceptable use
You must not use ClearInvoices to create fake, misleading or fraudulent invoices, to collect payments you are not entitled to, or to break any law. We may block access if we find misuse.
5. UPI payments
We do not handle any payment. Payments happen directly between the payer and the receiver through UPI apps. We are not responsible for wrong, failed or disputed payments, including those caused by a wrong UPI ID.
6. Ads and the "Generated by" line
The website is free and shows ads. Every invoice carries a small "Generated by clearinvoices.in" line at the bottom. Please do not block or interfere with the ads or the working of the website.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, ClearInvoices is not liable for any loss arising from use of the tool, including loss of data stored in your browser.
8. Changes
We may change these terms or the service at any time. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
