This policy explains what information ClearInvoices (clearinvoices.in) handles when you use the website.

1. Using the invoice generator without login

You can create and download invoices without logging in. In this case, what you type (business name, GSTIN, addresses, customer details, items, UPI ID, logo, notes and your chosen template) stays in your own browser. It is not sent to our servers. Your browser keeps your business details and your last draft on your device so that you do not have to type them again. You can turn this off with the "Remember my business details" box, or remove it with "Clear saved details".

1A. Login and saving invoices online (optional)

If you choose to log in, we receive your email address (and your name and profile picture if you use Google sign-in). When you save an invoice online, the invoice details you entered are stored in our database so that you can see them in "My invoices" and share them. The database and login are provided by Supabase. You must have the right to enter your customers' details.

Short links: every saved invoice gets a random short link. Anyone who has the link can see that invoice, so share it only with the people you want. You can turn a link off in "My invoices". Invoice pages are not meant for search engines.

Invoice numbers: without login, numbers are created on your own device. For invoices saved online, numbers are given from one common series for all users, so the numbers of one business may not be consecutive.

2. Information we may collect automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider and analytics or advertising partners may collect technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited and time spent.

3. Advertising and cookies

We may show ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can manage ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com and learn more at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

4. Third-party services

This website uses Google Fonts and the cdnjs network for a QR code library. Only if you log in, it also loads Supabase (login and database) from the jsDelivr network. If you choose Google sign-in, Google also processes your login. These services may receive your IP address when your browser loads them.

5. UPI payments

The UPI QR code is created inside your browser from the UPI ID you enter. We do not process, see or store any payment. Please check your UPI ID carefully before sharing an invoice.

6. Children

This website is not meant for children under 18.

7. Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may ask about, correct or delete personal data we hold about you. Invoices created without login are only in your browser, and you can delete them yourself. To have your account and invoices saved online deleted, email contact@clearinvoices.in.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
